Disney's New Royal Couple

Though I am not a Disney fan anymore (for a lot of reasons) I am happy to see that they have finally unveiled their new Prince and Princess for the The Frog Princess movie. No he is not white, he is voiced by a Brazilian actor and I think he is supposed to be of that or some ethnicity. He's just light-skinned ok? And even if he was white, so what? People (BC people probably) are already getting their panties in a bunch on Bossip, http://bossip.com/93060/princess-tiana-and-prince-who/#comments but the majority of the comments have been positive. Color struck as the black community is, this is what they lust after, prefer, just reversed. He's the light-skinded one now and I don't see a problem. I am not sure if I am going to see this movie b/c I'm not too into the studio that made it but I think it should be a cute film. People who are trying to turn it into a political talking point need to take a long look at what images our "community" projects and STFU! lol

Did Jon Stewart "Crossfire" Cramer???

Whoa! I watched the highly touted Stewart vs. Cramer showdown on the Daily Show tonight. I must say. . . it was brutal, and in a lot of ways rightfully so. Maybe Cramer did not deserve to be thrown under the bus for all the CNBS phonies like Santelli, but he sure did make an easy target with all his over-the-top gags and misleading advice. I am no business expert, but what Stewart helped a lot of us understand is that . . .
a.) CNBC commentators and the prospectors who gambled away our money are often in cahoots.
b.) People like Cramer and his ilk are continually (if not purposefully) misguiding people out of their wealth with shotty reporting and fact checking; taking the word of egomaniacal CEO's and bankers.
c.) The Market commentators like Cramer, saw this economic tsunami coming and did little but what was in the interest of the greedy to the point that millions were lost by the unsuspecting public.
He wiped the floor clean with this guy. I seriously felt a little bad for him. I really think I heard his voice crack a little there. Is this the end of Mad Money and these type of financial gag shows? Stewart single-handedly crushed "Crossfire" with a single interview and did major damage to the partisan pundit show genre at large. What's next for Cramer?
Man he's good!

Lil' Mama: The Ghettoest of Dem All
At the risk of sounding like a black elitist, I must ask. . .Is it just me or is America's Best Dance Crew judge and female rapper, Lil Mama, the most ghetto individual on television today!? She has filled the void Flavor Flav left on reality TV after the 3rd season of "Flavor of Love" wrapped. I am sorry, I might not understand because I am one of those "white talking" negroes, but hell, she butchers the English language without shame. Every sentence that comes out of this young lady's mouth is laced with at least one "y'all". She has yet to complete one episode using the correct tenses for all her verbs. The outfits? The outfits are another story; baseball caps with ponytail holes coming out the top, Mardi Graesque sequins and glitter. Ahhh!! I just can't take it. If she is "The Voice of the Young People", may I suggest Hooked on Phonics? It's never too late you
know.
Here is a compilation of some of my favorite Lil' Mama quotes; an ode to the ghettoest of dem all!

"When y'all speeded it up..."
"Y'all put so much choreography in this piece that i actually had to try and pay attention to y'all"
"Alien, is that yo name? "Ailyn" "sorry, it was a hard name to pronounce!"
"rememorable" !
"I think that this group is really smoove. The way you play your stunts off is like, really cool, is like, I can’t even splain it."
'YALL ATE THAT'
"PHILLY IS A STATE!"
"YA'LL TURN'T IT UP!"
" y'all always cease to amaze me"
"yall gotta understand that they come from a lifestyle where its TEN TEN TEN, SHHHAAAAABAM"
Disclaimer: I'm not really trying to hate maliciously on Lil Mama. I do appreciate how she doesn't sell sex in her music and tries to pay homage to ole skool Hip-Hop. She is a good role model when it comes to these elements. She stays real to herself and I do admire her originality. Plus, when is the last time I posted without 10, 20 spelling and punctuation errors. My blog is JUST as ghetto.
know.
